Abstract

There are still many teachers who have not received academic supervision so there is no closeness between the teacher and the Head of the Madrasah. It is still found that the Head of the madrasah does not provide maximum academic supervision to teachers, thus affecting the teacher's performance in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of academic supervision and leadership style of the Head of Madrasah on teacher performance in MTsN District Fifty Cities. The method used in this study is a quantitative research using a correlational approach. This method is used to describe the phenomenon of academic supervision and leadership style of madrasah heads which are found to have an impact on improving teacher performance in MTsN District Fifty Cities. The research location is MTsN in The Fifty Cities District and the research period is from October 2021 to January 2022. The results of this study show that the value of R is 0.136, and based on the hypothesis testing formula, R shows the influence of the variables tested. Data from the influence test showed that there was an influence of academic supervision of 13.6% on teacher performance. The R value is 0.100 and the value in the correlation table is 0.625 so it can be concluded that there is an influence of academic supervision variables and leadership styles on teacher performance by 62.5%.
