Pemerolehan dan Perkembangan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

This article examines early childhood language acquisition and development. The concept of children's language acquisition and development is also called the acquisition of a child's first language or "LAD" and a child's second language. A child's first language is innate or natural, while a child acquires a second language through learning either at the educational level or autodidactically. This is of course related to several factors in language acquisition itself, namely the socio-economic environment, heredity, intelligence and cognition, and personality. Apart from that, parents, teachers and the community where children learn various knowledge, especially language development, must play a role in this development by providing stimulus in the form of appropriate strategies to help the acquisition and development of language so that it develops optimally.
